We scaled Emma – The Sleep Company from a bootstrapped Frankfurt startup to one of the world's most successful direct-to-consumer brands. 25 markets. More than €750 million in revenue. Over 1,000 employees across four continents. Profitable growth, built from scratch.

That journey taught us what no investor playbook can: how D2C unit economics actually compound, how to build brand in twelve countries simultaneously, when to double down on a channel and when to kill it, and what it takes to lead a team through hypergrowth without losing the culture that made it work.

We back exceptional founders across two pillars: category-defining consumer brands and frontier technologies, with a particular focus on space and quantum. We invest early – typically at pre-seed and seed – and stay close. Our edge is operational: we've built and scaled companies ourselves. We don't just provide capital – we help founders develop, as leaders and as businesses, through structured personal development, deep operational support, and access to a network that compounds over time. Beyond backing founders, we build ourselves: incubating ventures in-house, scaling them, and spinning them out with dedicated co-founders once they're ready to stand alone.

Strategic Commodity Disruption

We target high-margin, everyday commodities redesigned for the digital age. Your product must be logistically optimized (the box-ability factor) to facilitate a lean, intermediary-free launch, with the brand equity to eventually dominate brick-and-mortar. Note: We focus on physical goods with functional benefits. We do not invest in pure-play tech or medical products.

Asset-Light & Scalable Architecture

Don't build factories; build an empire. We prioritize an asset-light model that uses outsourced manufacturing to bypass heavy CapEx. Your resources should stay concentrated on product and brand positioning.

AI-Native Operations

We look for an AI-first mindset. We expect founders to leverage AI not as a buzzword, but as an operational accelerator. We don't value AI for its own sake, but as a critical lever for efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

High-Velocity Performance Engine

We prioritize data-first over creative-first. We expect a marketing engine where customer acquisition is a predictable financial science. While we value the Emma blueprint, we also look for diversified strategies like community-led growth to ensure a sustainably low CAC and a high-velocity feedback loop.

Elite Unit Economics

The math must be undeniable. Our hard baselines include:
- Gross Margin: above 50%, with a credible path to sustained margin expansion
- Efficiency (LTV/CAC): target ratio above 3:1
- Market Size: minimum TAM of EUR 1 billion, with a clear path to 10-15% market share in mass markets and 60-70% in niche markets
